HKBU Alumni Association of the Greater Bay Area Attends a Summit Forum and Inauguration Ceremony of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Development Alliance
On 2 November, alumna Cindy Li (Corporate Governance and Directorship), Secretary of HKBU Alumni Association of the Greater Bay Area (HKBUGBAAA), attended a summit forum on Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area youth development. The summit was jointly organised by the Organization Department of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China (Shenzhen Talent Bureau), the Greater Bay Area Office of Shenzhen Municipal Committee, Luohu District Committee of Shenzhen Municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China and Luohu District Government.
HKBUGBAAA is one of the founding supporters of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area Youth Innovation and Development Alliance (Alliance). On the same occasion, alumna Cindy Li represents HKBUGBAAA to participate, together with other organisations, in the inauguration ceremony of the Alliance. The Alliance aims at supporting the promotion of talent pool, youth exchange and cooperation, and innovative development in Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area.
Two Alumni Salons Jointly Organised by HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association Shenzhen Chapter and HKBU Alumni Association of the Greater Bay Area
Jointly organised by HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association Shenzhen Chapter and HKBU Alumni Association of the Greater Bay Area, an Alumni Salon on “Data Compliance Crisis Management and Public Relations during Initial Public Offering (IPO)” was successfully held on 25 September. Hosted by student Wu Tao (Business Administration ), Vice-President of the HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association Shenzhen Chapter, the event invited alumna Zuo Qin (Business Administration), Assistant President and Chief Brand Officer of Sanpower Group as speaker to share with the audience her expertise and experience on crisis management and public relations concerning IPO. Participants were keen on exchanging views on the topic and grasped the opportunity to seek advice from alumna Zuo.
Another Alumni Salon, with the theme of how to manage the generation born in the 90s, was organised on 15 October, with Professor Huang Xu, Associate Dean of the HKBU School of Business invited as the speaker. The Salon was kick-started by an opening remarks by student Liu Yafang (Business Administration), Vice-President of the HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association Shenzhen Chapter and followed by a speech from student Li Jianjun (Business Administration). The highlight of the Salon was the stimulating and insightful sharing by Professor Huang, which captured the close attention of the participants. The Salon came to a perfect ending with the remarks of alumnus Lin Qisheng (Business Administration), Honorary Chairman of HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association.
