In response to the initiative of HKBU Century Club to provide annual scholarships to HKBU students, alumni Kent Tsui (Communication), President of the Club; Dr Marianna Tsang (Secretarial Management), Patron and Past President/Ex-officio Director of the Club; Agnes Wong (Business Management), Patron and Vice-President of the Club; Esther Wong (Geography; Social Work), Patron and Vice-President of the Club; Dr Helen Kwok (Communication), Secretary of the Club; Samuel Lau (Economics), Director of the Club; Stephen Tang (Business Management) and Dr Paul Yu (Communication), Club members; jointly donated a total of HK$50,000 to support the funding of five scholarships in the academic year 2021-22. The scholarships aim to award academically outstanding students and support them in joining extra-curricular activities and overseas exchange programmes.

On 20 January, alumni Kent Tsui, Esther Wong and Dr Helen Kwok had an online meeting with the scholarship recipients. During the meeting, they introduced to students the vision and mission of the Club and encouraged them to make contribution to the University in the future.
