HKBU Alumni Association of Australia Organises Christmas Gathering

HKBU Alumni Association of Australia (HKBUAA of Australia) organised a Christmas gathering at The Eight Modern Chinese Restaurant in Sydney on 18 December 2021. The gathering was attended by alumni Sidney Cheng (Communication), President of HKBUAA of Australia; Peggy Siu (Secretarial Management) and her spouse Andrew Chan; Peter Chu (Chemistry) and his spouse Fong Siu-bing; Professor Edward Fung and his spouse; alumni Henie Tsang (Communication/Secretarial Management), Clara Cheng (Social Work) and Richard Lam (Communication). They all spent a great time together and look forward to the next gathering.

The Association would like to invite alumni, retired and former academic and administrative staff of the University, who are now residing in Australia to join the Association as members, and participate in its events. HKBU Alumni Association of Macau Holds Annual General Meeting

The HKBU Alumni Association of Macau (HKBUAA of Macau) held its Annual General Meeting (AGM) on 6 January 2022 at Federal Restaurant, Macau.

At the AGM, alumnus Paul Pang (Mathematics), President of HKBUAA of Macau, delivered the report of the Association, covering the activities held and achievements made in the past year.  Alumnus Dr Sammy Liu (English Language & Literature), Supervisor General of the Association and Chancellor of the Macau University of Science and Technology, endorsed the report and thanked the Board of Directors for their good work in the past year. After the AGM, Dr Liu hosted a dinner for around 30 alumni at the restaurant. All participants had an enjoyable evening catching up with one another.
