Members of SHAA pose for a group photo.

HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai (SHAA) held its Annual General Meeting on 24 September. Alumni Gilman Too (Communication) and Johnny Li (UIC-Accounting; Green Technology) were re-elected President and Vice-President of SHAA respectively. President Too hoped that the new Board of Directors would continue strengthening the ties with members and working towards actualising the vision and mission, and enhancing the reputation, of their alma mater. The list of the newly elected Board of Directors for the term 2022-23 is as follows:

President:

Gilman Too (Communication)

Vice-President (cum Treasurer and Promotion Director):

Johnny Li (UIC-Accounting; Green Technology)

Secretary:

Trinity Tu (Business Administration)

Membership Division:

Iris Shen (Communication)

Recreation Division:

Audrey Wang (Communication)

Zhang Chi (UIC-International Journalism; Communication)

Leon Huang (Business Administration)

Given that the alumni in Shanghai were unable to return to Hong Kong to participate in the HKBU Golf Day held on 4 November due to the pandemic, the Association organised a golf day event on 15 October at Shanghai Yintao Golf Club to show support for the University. Members enjoyed a wonderful morning together.

For those who are interested in joining the Association’s activities, please contact the President Gilman Too at email: gilmantoo@yahoo.com.

President Too shares his plans for the Association with new Board of Directors.

Members of SHAA enjoy the event to the full.
