HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai Hosts Roundtable Talk

Participating alumni participate in a roundtable discussion.

On March 14, HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai (HKBUSHAA) organised a roundtable talk. Several alumni interested in the investment field participated in a roundtable discussion, covering topics from the macro environment to industry cycles. Participants also shared their own research and investment experiences, exploring investment trends and potential opportunities in light of current market environment. The event featured alumnus Cheng Xuanzhang (Media Management) as the keynote speaker. Alumnus Cheng is a Wealth Management Advisor at Orient Securities, and has been awarded the company’s “Best Investment Advisor” and 2025 Best Investment Strategy Award in ETF Investment Advisor Competition. After the discussion, the participants enjoyed a delicious meal together, spending a fulfilling and enjoyable afternoon.

HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai Holds its Annual General Meeting and Elected New Board Members

On 29 December 2025, HKBUSHAA held its Annual General Meeting (AGM), bringing together more than 80 alumni.

During the AGM, alumni review the achievements of 2025 and elected members of the Board of Directors for the term 2026–2028.

HKBU Alumni Association of Australia (HKBUAAA) organised a Chinese New Year celebration dinner gathering on 26 February, bringing alumni together for an evening of reconnecting, sharing memories, and celebrating friendship in a joyous atmosphere.

HKBUAAA invites alumni, retired/former academic and administrative staff of the University residing in Australia to join them in fostering friendship and fellowship. HKBU Northern California Alumni Network Organises Lunch Gathering

Northern California alumni enjoy the lunch gathering to the fullest.

Alumni in Northeastern United States organised a lunch gathering at Saigon Seafood Harbor Restaurant in Sunnyvale, California on 17 February. Attended by alumni Tony Dong (Business Management), Mabel Dong (Music), Diana Ko (Music), Billy Leung (Chinese Language & Literature), Patrick Leung (Mathematics), Lo Lai-yin (Social Work), Betty Ng (Accounting), Rowena Tsui (Chinese Language and Literature), Patrick Wong (Business Management), Pak Yan (Sociology), Robert Yeung (Accounting) and Yu Ming-yan (Sociology). Alumni and guests gathered in joyful atmosphere, reconnecting and celebrating the pleasure of reunion.
