Arts Administration Scholarships (Local/Overseas)

Hong Kong Arts Development Council (HKADC) is launching two scholarship schemes, namely “Local Arts Administration Scholarships 2016” and “Overseas Arts Administration Scholarships 2016”, to support local promising arts administrators to further their studies in Hong Kong and abroad in order to strengthen their professionalism. Both schemes are supported by funding from the Home Affairs Bureau.
“Local Arts Administration Scholarships 2016” are intended to support arts administrators who wish to pursue master courses or professional programmes in relation to arts administration at local universities or tertiary institutions. The intended programmes must commence within the period from 1 April 2016 to 31 March 2017. Each scholarship will cover 70% of the tuition fees, up to a maximum amount of HK$72,000. Around six local scholarships will be awarded.
“Overseas Arts Administration Scholarships 2016” are intended to support arts administrators who wish to pursue taught master courses in relation to arts administration at overseas accredited institutions. The intended programmes must commence within the period from 1 September 2016 to 31 August 2017. Around six overseas scholarships, with a bursary up to HK$450,000 each which covers tuition fee, subsistence allowance and a round-trip flight ticket, will be awarded.

Applications are required to be submitted to HKADC Administration Office (14/F, East Warwick House, Taikoo Place, 979 King’s Road, Hong Kong) by 6:30 pm on 18 March 2016 (Friday) the latest. Applications submitted by post must be postmarked on or before the deadline. Late submission or submission by fax or email will not be processed.
