Digitised HKBC/HKBU Publications Now Available on the Library Website

For over a decade, HKBU Library has been collecting publications and ephemeral materials from the University and its offices, units and affiliated bodies, to build up the collections of the University Archives. In the past year, the Library has been digitising some of these publications and putting them on the Library’s designated website for easy access. They include The President’s Report (1970-1981/82), HKBC Annual Report (1982/83-1993/94), the campus newsletter Our College (Apr 1968-1990), and three special publications dated back from 1957-58. For ease of access, the publications are fully text-searchable. Please click here to access the publications. More information will be added to the website later on.

Making available archival sources of information more accessible to stakeholders of the University is a collaborative endeavour. Thus, the Library’s next project will involve working with the School of Communication to digitise the School’s publications.

The Library is always delighted to hear from alumni if they have publications related to the University that they would like to donate. Feedback from alumni is also very much welcome. For donation and feedback, please contact libarc@hkbu.edu.hk.
