HKBU 19th Honorary University Fellowship Conferment Ceremony

HKBU conferred Honorary University Fellowships on six distinguished persons at the 19th Honorary University Fellowship Conferment Ceremony on 26 September in recognition of their outstanding contributions to a wide variety of areas and their support of society. The six recipients are Dr Terence Chan Ho-wah, Ms Winsome Chow, Mr David Fong Man-hung, Mr Lau Pak-shing, Dr Susie Lum Shun-sui and Mrs Virginia Yim Tsui Yuk-shan.

At the Ceremony, Professor Alex Wai, President and Vice-Chancellor of HKBU said that the six Honorary University Fellowship recipients command great respect, not only for their exceptional accomplishments, but also for their integrity, humility, and desire to give back to society.

Mr David Fong Man-hung delivered a Vote of Thanks on behalf of the Honorary University Fellows. He expressed that they were greatly honoured by this award and shared that they accepted not only an honour, but also the profound responsibility that comes with it. They acknowledged their duty to continue to serve and contribute to the community that has given them much.
