Homecoming Gathering for HKBU Athletes in Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games cum Social Sciences in Dialogue
To celebrate the outstanding performance and contributions of students and alumni of Hong Kong Baptist University (HKBU) at the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games, the University will organise a Homecoming Gathering cum Social Sciences in Dialogue on Future Development of Sport in Hong Kong on 18 October.
HKBU students including para-badminton athlete Daniel Chan Ho-yuen (Physical Education and Recreation Management) and cycling athlete Sarah Lee Wai-sze (Creative and Professional Writing), and alumni including hurdles athlete Chan Chung-wang (Physical Education and Recreation Management) and boccia athlete Ho Yuen-kei (China Studies) who participated in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic and Paralympic Games are invited to join the event. They will share their experience and path to success with the University community, with a view of inspiring their fellow students to try their best to achieve their objectives, and discuss the development of sport in Hong Kong.
