68 Final-year Students Join the New Cohort of Class Representatives

The Alumni Affairs Office warmly welcomes 68 outstanding undergraduate final-year students who have been newly appointed Class Representatives for the 2021-2022 academic year. Nominated by their respective programme directors, these newly appointed Class Representatives will play a vital role in serving as a bridge between alumni and their alma mater so as to foster a thriving alumni community. To commend and welcome them, an online inauguration ceremony will be held in late March.

The HKBU Class Representative Scheme is an initiative launched by the Alumni Affairs Office in 2012, with the aim to strengthening the ties between alumni-to-be and their alma mater. Over the years, Class Representatives were invited to join various U-wide activities such as Homecoming Day, Distinguished Alumni Award Sharing Forum and High Table Dinner, all of which offered them great opportunities to broaden their social network and gain inspiration for personal development from outstanding alumni.

Class Representatives of last year gather together at the inauguration ceremony.

Each Class Representative is presented with a Certificate of Appointment by Dr Melanie Lee (front row, third from left), Director of Alumni Affairs, which denotes the commencement of a lifelong identity.
