On 1 June, the panel interview of an essay competition for The Analects for Us All co-organised by HKBU Century Club (the Club), China Friendship Foundation for Peace and Development and Art Concept Culture Institute, was held successfully.

The Analects for Us All was broadcast in 2015. It was presented by HKBU Century Club and produced by Art Concept Culture Institute, in the hope of inspiring audiences on philosophy of life and bringing positive energy to society. The programme was later published into a book by Chung Hwa Book in 2020. The essay competition was the first activity in relation to the book. Launched in November 2023, the competition was well-received, and the judging panel including Professor Richard Ho and Professor Chen Zhi, President of Beijing Normal University-Hong Kong Baptist University United International College and Director of Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology, etc had previously shortlisted works from the numerous entries. On the interview day, alumni Dr Marianna Tsang (Secretarial Management), Patron and President of the Club; Kent Tsui (Communication), Past President/Ex-officio Director of the Club; Katie Chan (Communication), President of Art Concept Culture Institute; and Chan Chek-biu (Communication) served as the panel of judges. The first, second, and third place as well as the excellence award recipients in the respective junior secondary, senior secondary, and university groups were successfully selected. The winners would be invited to join a cultural tour in Beijing.
