HKBU Alumni Association Achieves Encouraging Result in the 7th Inter-University Alumni Golf Competition

The golf team from the HKBUAA wins the second runner-up in the New New Peoria System team competition.

The golf team from HKBU Alumni Association (HKBUAA) participated in the 7th Inter-University Alumni Golf Competition, which was held on 15 May at the Dongguan Phoenix Hill Golf Course.

In addition to the veteran alumni golf players, several young alumni joined the HKBUAA team in the Competition. The team showcased their golfing talents and won the second runner-up in the New New Peoria System team competition.

HKBUAA regularly organises golf activities to build friendships and strengthen connections among alumni. Interested alumni please stay tuned for the updates.

HKBU Alumni Association Organises Company Visit at BYD’s Headquarters in Shenzhen

On 8 April, HKBU Alumni Association (HKBUAA) co-organised a company visit at BYD’s headquarters in Shenzhen, together with the HKBU Career Centre, HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association Shenzhen Chapter, HKBU School of Business Alumni Association and UIC Alumni Association Shenzhen Chapter. The visit attracted nearly 90 alumni and students from Hong Kong, Shenzhen and other cities in the Greater Bay Area to join.

Participants were warmly received by Mr Yang Linxiao, Director of Branding and Government Affairs of BYD, who engaged in a fruitful exchange with the representatives of participants led by alumnus Dr Jacinto Tong (Chemistry), President of HKBUAA. Mr Yang shared with participants the latest developments of the company and trends transforming the automobile industry. Participants also visited the showroom in its headquarters, where a wide spectrum of products manufactured by the company were showcased. The company visit not only provided a valuable opportunity for alumni and students to broaden their horizons, but also strengthened the connections between alumni and students.
