HKBU Century Club (the Club) sponsored the Global Virtual Exchange Masterclass Series organised by the School of Continuing Education (SCE). The opening ceremony and the first masterclass were successfully held on 24 November. Alumna Dr Marianna Tsang (Secretarial Management), Patron and Past President/Ex-officio Director of the Club, was invited as the officiating guest and delivered remarks on behalf of the Club.
The masterclass aimed to encourage students to think beyond the classroom, sharpen professional skills, and embrace new perspectives in today’s interconnected world. Under the theme “The Odyssey of Influencer Marketing”, the event offered participants insights into the realities and complexities of influencer marketing and content creation, while addressing cultural differences and practical challenges in the field. Students also engaged in an interactive activity, collaborating to design mock influencer campaigns for a selected product, which allowed them to put their creativity and strategic thinking into practice. The session attracted approximately 170 local and overseas students, joining in-person and online.
