HKBU Social Work Alumni Association held its 2025 Annual General Meeting on 4 December. Following the meeting, the Executive Committee members enjoyed a dinner gathering and spent a joyful evening catching up with each other.

Alumni Association of Physical Education Department Post-graduate Studies, HKBU Hosts Career Talk to Provide Career Insights to Students

On 28 November, the Alumni Association of Physical Education Department Post-graduate Studies, HKBU (AAPEG), organised a career talk for Sport and Leisure Management (SLM) students. The speaker was alumna Pony Ma (Sport & Leisure Management), whose mother tongue is Putonghua.

Alumna Ma shared her experience of adapting to life in Hong Kong as a non-Cantonese speaker and highlighted how she overcame language barrier to successfully secure a full-time position at a local company. Her story encouraged students to embrace challenges and remained open to opportunities in the local job market.

The Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association – Civil Engineering Graduates Association held its annual gathering and 43rd anniversary celebration dinner on November 1 at the Cityview Hotel, Hong Kong. More than 50 alumni and guests attended. Alumni were delighted to reunite with their former teachers, including Ir Professor Ko Jan-ming, Ir Lai Kuen-wai, Ir Prof Mok Kwok-woo, Ir Martin Cheung and Ir Tsui Leung-cho and his spouse.

This annual reunion has long been a treasured tradition for both alumni and teachers. Alumni came together with heartfelt gratitude to reminisce about their school days and share life and career experiences after graduation. Alumni from different graduating years seized the opportunity to take photos with their former teachers. The evening was filled with laughter and warm greetings, as old friends catch up and exchange stories—making it a truly unforgettable night.
