Alumni Golfers Shine at the HKBU Golf Day 2024
Over 220 guests and alumni attend the HKBU Golf Day 2024.
The “HKBU Foundation 15th Anniversary．ASHWORTH Golf Day 2024” was successfully held on 8 November at the Eden Course of The Hong Kong Golf Club in Fanling, with over 220 guests and alumni attending. Eight alumni teams participated in the tournament, continuing their tradition of avidly supporting this meaningful event. The Golf Day not only allowed alumni to showcase their golfing prowess but also provided an opportunity for them to contribute to their alma mater in support of its strategic development. The alumni golfers put forth their best efforts to compete for the awards. This year, the champion of the Alumni Cup was the Accounting Alumni Team. The joint 1st runners-up were the Baptist Chemists Team and the HKBUAA – Team E, while the HKBUAA – Team A captured the second runner-up position.
During the prize presentation ceremony cum dinner, alumni Lau Pak-shing, So Wing-kin, Ivan Wong (Business Administration), and Norman Wu, along with the Baptist Chemists Team, received souvenirs from the University in recognition of their long-standing and ardent support for the Golf Day.
Accounting Alumni Team won the championship in the Alumni Cup.
Baptist Chemists Team is one of the joint 1st runners-up in the Alumni Cup.
The other joint 1st runners-up is HKBUAA – Team E.
HKBUAA – Team A, the 2nd runner-up in the Alumni Cup.
