Online Inauguration Ceremony for HKBU Class Representatives 2023-2024

Class Representatives pledge unity and support to the alumni community by making a hand signal of “C”.

The Alumni Affairs Office (AAO) conducted an online inauguration to welcome and recognise the newly appointed Class Representatives 2023-2024 on 12 April. Over 70 Class Representatives attended the inauguration on Zoom.

AAO extended a warm welcome to the exceptional final-year students for joining the big family of Class Representatives. AAO colleagues also introduced the Class Representatives Scheme and announced the upcoming activities organised by AAO and the University. To enhance the understanding on HKBU and the HKBU alumni community, a fun and interactive quiz game was conducted with active participation from the attending Class Representatives. As a recognition of the lifelong commitment, a Certificate of Appointment was presented to each Class Representative.

AAO introduced the HKBU Class Representative Scheme in 2012 as an initiative to strengthen the connection between alumni-to-be and their alma mater. Over 1,100 outstanding undergraduate students have been appointed as Class Representatives throughout the years, all of whom pledged to help maintain close contact between the graduate cohort and the University.
