Alumni Tyrone Siu and Alex Leung Attend the "Art, Music and Wine" Exhibition Featuring Alumna Rosa Lin On 27 Aug 2019, the Bankers Club in Central staged a painting exhibition "Art, Music and Wine" featuring a local artist alumna Rosa Lin (Communication Film/Video). Prof. Louis Nixon, Director of HKBU Academy of Visual Arts (AVA), alumni Tyrone Siu (History) and Alex Leung (Business Management), President of HKBU Alumni Association, along with four 2019 AVA graduates, namely Ms. Hannah Shieh, Mr. Tony Cheng, Ms. Glary Wu Hoi Yan and Ms. Cass Leung Lok Kwan were invited by the Club to attend the exhibition. Our graduates had a good discussion and exchange with Rosa Lin as well as other local artists such as Mr. Raymond Pang, Ms. Gisele Tchitchiama and some gallery owners. Alumnus Prof. William Leung Appointed as Chairman of Legal Aid Services Council Alumnus Prof. William Leung (English Language & Literature) was appointed as the Chairman of the Legal Aid Services Council (the Council) for a term of two years with effect from 1 September 2019. The Council is responsible for overseeing the administration of the legal aid services provided by the Legal Aid Department and advising the Chief Executive on legal aid policy. Two National Appointments Taken Up by Alumna Marianna Tsang Alumna Marianna Tsang (Secretarial Management) was appointed Distinguished Researcher of the Committee of Experts, Centre for National Economic Research of the Chinese Academy of Governance for a term of two years. She was also appointed Arbitrator of the 3rd QuanZhou Arbitration Commission. Congratulations to alumna Tsang!    Alumna Marianna Tsang
