President Chin and the Delegation Attend a Dinner Gathering Organised by HKBU Alumni Association of Australia in Sydney
 
As part of the trip to recruit world class scholars, President Prof. Roland Chin and the University delegation including Mr. CK Yeung, Associate Vice-President (Engagement); Prof. Adrian Bailey, Dean of Faculty of Social Sciences; Prof. Chris Wong, Associate Dean of Faculty of Science; and Dr. Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs, took the time to visit alumni in Sydney, Australia and attended a dinner gathering hosted by HKBU Alumni Association of Australia (HKBUAAA) on 24 August. The dinner was also graced by the presence of distinguished guests including Ms. Winnie Chan, Deputy Director of Hong Kong Economic & Trade Office, Sydney, Australia; Mr. Owen Wong, President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Alumni Association of Australia; Mr. Steve Lam, Past President of The Chinese University of Hong Kong Alumni Association of Australia; Dr. David Lam, President of The Hong Kong Polytechnic University (Australia) Association; and Ms. Linda Tang, Vice-President of the Hong Kong University Alumni Association New South Wales Chapter Australia Inc and its members. Several HKBU exchange students from Australia also attended the dinner.

During the trip, President Chin and the delegation visited 15 universities in Australia. President Chin also joined an interview by 2ac Australian Chinese Radio to share his vision to scale new heights for the future development of the University.
