HKBU Century Club Organises a Fundraising Screening of “Our Town”
HKBU Century Club is going to organize a fundraising screening of drama “Our Town” directed by alumnus Cheung Che-kwok (Communication) on 12 November at Sunbeam Theatre to pay tribute to Drama Master Dr. Chung King-fai, former lecturer of HKBU. The fund raised by the drama will be used to support the development of HKBU including the establishment of the Endowed Chair, scholarships and bursaries.
On 28 August, the organising committee held a kick-off ceremony and meeting to discuss on the fundraising details.

Patron and Treasurer Alumnus Alfred Tang Conferred HKBU Honorary University Fellowship
Members of the Club gathered on 5 September to celebrate the conferment of alumnus Alfred Tang, Patron and Treasurer of HKBU Century Club, as HKBU Honorary University Fellow at the 62th Convocation and 12th Honorary University Fellowship Conferment Ceremony.
On the same occasion, the Club also gave their congratulations to Mrs. Kitty Tse, spouse of HKBU President Emeritus and Honorary President of Century Club Dr. Daniel Tse, on her conferment of the Honorary University Fellowship. |

Results Announcement of HKBU Century Club Sponsorship Scheme 2017
As part of the initiative to support the betterment and sustainable growth of the University, HKBU Century Club launched the annual Century Club Sponsorship Scheme (the Scheme) again this year to provide financial support to various academic or student development projects.
This year marks the 10th Anniversary of the Scheme which was well-received with applications from various academic departments and offices. The judging panel, chaired by Vice-President of the Club alumnus Philip Kan (Business Management), deliberated on the applications and decided to grant support to the following ten University projects:
