| Orthopedic course on “Foshan Traditional Manipulation of Bone-setting” organised by HKBU School of Chinese Medicine (Full Time) Alumni Association (HKBUCMAA) was successfully concluded in May – July 2014. The course was well-attended by 46 participants. Prof. Ng Chung-nung, a well-known Chinese Medicine orthopedics specialist in Hong Kong as well as some senior Chinese medicine practitioners and professors from Foshan Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine explained the “bio-mechanics” of manipulation of bone-setting, diagnosis and treatment of common bone fractures and dislocations through “theory-demonstration” method. Participants have gained practical know-how of traditional Chinese medicine manipulation of bone-setting from the course. |
