Recent Activities of Alumni Associations

Service Trip to Taiwan by Y’s Union
Organised by Y’s Union ─ the Alumni Association of University YMCA (HKBU), the first service trip to Taiwan from 29 June to 3 July 2012 was successfully concluded. A total of 18 alumni participated in the trip with a view to giving love and care to the children at risk at Kidsalive International in Taitung, Taiwan. A number of activities including English teaching, games and evening party have been organised.The kids enjoyed the activities very much. After the voluntary work, the alumni were given a tour to Kanting arranged by the Tainan YMCA. All the participants found this service trip very meaningful and fruitful.

HKBU MBA Alumni Association AGM cum Dinner Gathering 2012
HKBU MBA Alumni Association held the Annual General Meeting (AGM) 2012 on 11 August 2012 at Shiu Pong Hall. Attended by over 20 alumni members and guests including Prof. Allan Chan Kit-kwong, Associate Dean of School of Business, the AGM discussed various items including passing the proposal of renaming HKBU MBA Alumni Association to “HKBU MBA and MScBM Alumni Association”, taking into consideration of the involvement of alumni of the new Master of Science in Business Management programme.
