Alumnus Justin Chow (Master of Public Administration) once said that studying in university was one of his dreams in his teens. However, he had to work for a living after matriculation. In 2011, HKBU offered him, on discretionary grounds, a place to pursue the Master of Public Administration course, although he was not a degree holder. During his part-time studies at HKBU, he was not only able to get a taste of the life as a university student, but had also gained valuable knowledge from his teachers who, coming from diverse academic backgrounds, possess sound knowledge in their respective fields. This precious learning experience has ignited his passion in life-long learning. After graduation, Justin continued to take his second and third master’s degree in two other local universities. With perseverance and dedication, he was able to graduate with distinctions in both endeavours. To alumnus Chow, HKBU has helped unleash his potential and enabled him to fulfil his dream. He expressed his sincere gratitude for what he has benefited from his alma mater. |
