Four BBA Alumni Receive HKICPA QP Scholarships 2019
Four alumni from the School of Business were awarded scholarships from the Hong Kong Institute of Certified Public Accountants (HKICPA) Qualification Programme (QP) Scholarships 2019 for their academic excellence in accountancy. The scholarship comes in the form of a fee waiver covering module and examination costs for each awardee as an encouragement for them to pursue further studies in accountancy. A maximum of 20 QP scholarships are offered each year. The award ceremony was held on 21 September 2019, during which the four alumni were presented with the scholarship: Mr. Lai Chun Fai Mark (Accounting), Miss Li Tong Emily (Accounting), Miss Poon Yui Sara (Accounting) and Miss Wong Hei Tung Stephanie (Accounting). All of them are now working for the Big Four accounting firms.
Two Year 3 BBA (Hons.) Accounting students, Miss Ho Yuen Yi and Miss Pang Sze Wing received the 2018-19 HKICPA Scholarships award, each in the amount of HK$6,000, in recognition of their distinguished performance in academic and extra-curricular activities.
