Corporate Governance and Directorship Society Supports Charity Walkathon
HKBU Corporate Governance and Directorship Society will partake in the Charity Walkathon organised by Hong Kong Federation of Handicapped Youth as the supporting organisation. The Walkathon aims at promoting social inclusion and raising funds for sports and arts activities for the disabled. The Walkathon will be held on 16 Nov 2013 from Science Park to Tai Po Waterfront Park. Interested parties may fill in the application form and email to alex@wfs.com.hk for registration.

HKBU School of Business Alumni Association – Simulated Trading Competition
HKBU School of Business Alumni Association will organise a simulated Trading Competition from 4 Nov to 29 Nov 2013. This competition aims at providing HKBU students an opportunity to practice trading skills through simulation. Participant will emulate the daily job of a professional trader who conducts active trading on Interactive Brokers’ professional simulated trading platform.Winners of the competition will have the chance to get internship opportunities in financial firms. Share the Joy of Baptist Chemists 20th Anniversary
To celebrate the 20th Anniversary of HKBU Baptist Chemists, the Association will co-organise a get-together party with HKBU Department of Chemistry on 2 November 2013. The event aims at creating a mingling platform for alumni and expressing gratitude to outstanding academic staff of Department of Chemistry including Prof. Albert Lee Wai-ming, Prof. Chan Wing-hong and Dr. Mok Man-hung. HKBU Alumni Association Establishes Joint University Alumni Associations Wine Club with Alumni Associations of other Universities
An inauguration ceremony cum wine dinner will be held on 18 October 2013 at Lippo Chiuchow Restaurant, Admiralty to celebrate the establishment of Joint University Alumni Associations Wine Club (JUAA Wine Club), which was founded by (in alphabetical order) Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association, Hong Kong Polytechnic Alumni Association, and Lingnan University (Hong Kong) Alumni Association.
