Alumnus Louis Yan Receives the "Ten Outstanding Young Person 2019" Award
Alumnus Louis Yan (Business) is one of the recipients of the "Ten Outstanding Young Person 2019" award. Organised by the Junior Chamber International Hong Kong (JCIHK), eight young Hongkongers, aged between 21 and 40, were named the honorees of this year’s award. According to the panel of judges, recipients of the award are deemed to have excelled in their own professional field and, at the same time, have made selfless contributions to the community. The theme of this year’s award, ‘Ignite Passion & Reach Beyond’, gives formal recognition to young Hongkongers who strove for their dreams while standing by their original aspiration and, in the end, were able to make their success stories known abroad.
Alumnus Yan has been a magician for more than 10 years. He was the first Hong Kong magician to have staged solo performances in Las Vegas and ran a World Tour. By integrating Hong Kong’s culture into his performances, alumnus Yan has shown the world over the innovation the city of Hong Kong can bring about in magic performances.
Congratulations to alumnus Yan!
