Mentoring Programme 2018-2019 – Effective Communication Enhances Career Development
On 3 November, HKBU Alumni Association (HKBUAA) organised a career development workshop entitled "Effective Communication Enhances Career Development", which was one of the workshop series under the Mentoring Programme 2018-2019. The workshop was well attended by 40 alumni and students.
The workshop consisted of three parts: sharing by guest speaker, alumnus Henry Yip (Communication), group discussion and a wrap-up session. During the group discussion session, mentors and mentees were split into small groups to share their experience and success stories of effective communication with supervisors, colleagues and working partners.
The workshop was well received by participants, who expressed that the advice and tips from the guest speaker and mentors were helpful in their career development. |
