Supports Film Premiere on Zhou Enlai

HKBU Century Club (The Club) participated as a supporting organisation in a film premiere featuring former Premier of the People's Republic of China Mr. Zhou Enlai on 14 October 2014. The Club’s President Ms. Marianna Tsang attended the premiere as one of the officiating guests.

The film premiere, organised by Art Concept Culture Institute and co-organised by Chinese People's Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries, was held at Tsang Chan Sik Yue Auditorium at Academic and Administration Building on HKBU campus. The Club highly appreciates Mr. Zhou's selflessness and commitment to serving people and finds it meaningful to support the event.

On 8 September 2014, President Tsang together with former President Dr. Eddie Ho and Vice-President Mr. Kent Tsui attended a media show for the same film and received a souvenir from the niece of Mr. Zhou Enlai, Ms. Zhou Bing-de, as a token of appreciation for the Club’s support.

Moreover, in support of “community engagement” which is one of the strategic focus areas under HKBU’s development blueprint titled “Vision 2020”, the Club has extended its effort in serving the community through co-organising a singing and dancing activity for residents of Tseung Kwan O district on 27 September 2014 as well as sponsoring a Chinese opera for the elderly held at the Sai Kung Jockey Club Town Hall on 25 October 2014.
