Recent Activities of HKBU Alumni Association (HKBUAA) and Joint University Alumni Associations Wine Club (JUAAWC)
HKBUAA Holds Extraordinary General Meeting

HKBUAA held its Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on 15 October 2014 at Lingnan Club in Central. HKBUAA President alumnus Tyrone Siu chaired the meeting and two Articles of Association, namely i) change of the maximum number of Directors from 8 to 12, and ii) change of Executive Members from 25 to 30, have been passed for amendments.
Meeting with Old and New Acquaintances of HKBU

On 24 October 2014, HKBUAA President alumnus Tyrone Siu and Vice-Presidents alumni Arnold Chan, Alex Leung and Eric Leung hosted a luncheon for a group of alumni from Mainland China graduated in 2000 to 2014 at Lingnan Club in Central. The alumni shared their latest development on careers.

On 27 October 2014, President Siu also hosted another luncheon at Lingnan Club with Vice-Presidents alumni Arnold Chan and Alex Leung to greet three alumni of graduating class of 1964, namely Chao Tsin, Suzanne Cheung and Pang Ho-yue.

JUAAWC 1st Anniversary Dinner

As the chair alumni association of the Joint University Alumni Associations Wine Club, HKBUAA hosted a wine dinner at Lippo Chiuchow Restaurant in Admiralty on 17 October 2014 to celebrate the first anniversary of JUAAWC, which was well-attended by over 100 members. Chairman of JUAAWC alumnus Stephen Tang thanked members of their efforts in organising the Club and said that he expected to expand the number of members in the future.
