Recent Activities of Various HKBU Alumni Associations

Golden Jubilee Anniversary Dinner of Chinese Christian Universities Alumni AssociationThe Chinese Christian Universities Alumni Association (CCUAA), a union of 13 Christian universities alumni associations, celebrated its 60th anniversary on 19 October 2012 at Royal Plaza Hotel. More than with 240 guests attended the event. As a member of CCUAA, Hong Kong Baptist University Alumni Association (HKBUAA) has been actively involved in CCUAA’s activities and fundraising programmes. It was delighted to note that an amount of HK$120,000 has been raised for educational purpose on this occasion.

HKBU Economics Alumni Association "BBQ in a Breezy Autumn Night"
The "BBQ in a Breezy Autumn Night" dinner gathering of the HKBU Economics Alumni Association was successfully held on 27 October 2012. Participants included alumni from the 80's, 90's and current undergraduate students. Dr. Li Sung-ko participated in the event as the Associate Professor of the Economics Department as well as an alumnus. During the dinner, alumnus Ignatius So, the incumbent President of the HKBU Economics Alumni Association introduced alumnus Matthew Tse as his successor for the next term.
