Alumnus Prof. Bernard Wu Appointed Member of Hospital Governing Committee of Tung Wah Group of Hospitals by the Hospital Authority
Chairman of HKBU School of Business Alumni Association alumnus Prof. Bernard Wu (Accounting) was appointed by the Hospital Authority as member of the Hospital Governing Committee of Tung Wah Hospital, Tung Wah Eastern Hospital and TWGHs Fung Yiu King Hospital. Alumnus Prof. Nelson Lam Appointed Adjunct Professor of the School of Business of HKBU
Founder and Chairman of Nelson CPA Limited alumnus Prof. Nelson Lam (Business Administration) was appointed by the School of Business of the University as Adjunct Professor, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to, and remarkable accomplishments in the business sector. Alumna Ho Yuen-kei and Grace Lau Shone at the Hong Kong Sports Stars Award
Alumna Ho Yuen-kei (China Studies), one of Hong Kong’s best female boccia players, is the recipient of the Hong Kong Most Promising Sports Stars Award. Alumna Ho won a gold medal in BC3 (Individual) and a silver medal in BC3 (Pairs) at the 2019 Povoa Boccia World Open. She was named Sportswoman of the Year at the FILA 2019 Outstanding Athlete Awards and was also honoured by the Regeneration Society as one of the Regeneration Warriors in 2015-2016. Alumna Grace Lau (Creative Communication), an outstanding female karateka in Hong Kong, received the Hong Kong Sports Stars Award. Alumna Lau was a bronze medalist in the women’s individual kata at the World Karate Championships held in Spain in 2018. She further won a silver medal in the women’s individual kata at the Asian Karate Championships in 2019. Congratulations to alumna Lau!
