Alumnus Dr. William Leung Awarded Chapter Honouree of Beta Gamma Sigma HKBU Chapter
At the 8th Induction Ceremony of Beta Gama Sigma (BGS) HKBU Chapter held by School of Business on 25 April, alumnus Dr. William Leung (Honorary University Fellow; English Language & Literature) was awarded the Chapter Honouree of BGS HKBU Chapter for his significant contribution to fostering the development of the financial and banking industry, as well as the tertiary education sector and the community in Hong Kong.

Alumni Fredric Mao and Chris Shum Shine at Hong Kong Drama Awards
At the 27th Hong Kong Drama Awards organised by the Hong Kong Federation of Drama Societies, alumnus Fredric Mao (English Language and Literature) won the best actor (tragedy/drama) award for his leading role in “The Father”, while alumnus Chris Shum (Chinese Language and Literature) brought back home the best original song award for his lyrics in “Sing Out”. |
