Updates on HKBU Overseas Alumni Associations
 
HKBU Alumni Association of Ontario Stages Inauguration Ceremony and Spring Dinner

HKBU Alumni Association of Ontario held its Inauguration Ceremony and Spring Dinner on 8 April, which was graced by the presence of member of Alumni Committee of HKBU Foundation alumnus Wong Nga-chung from Hong Kong.

Over 100 alumni as well as Presidents and representatives from alumni associations of the eight Hong Kong higher institutions attended the Dinner. They were all impressed by a surprise congratulatory video from HKBU President Prof. Roland Chin.

HKBUAAO aims to connect alumni residing in Ontario. The new Board of Directors for the term of 2018-2019 composes the following members:

HKBU Alumni Association of Australia Holds an Outing

On 4 April, HKBU Alumni Association of Australia held an outing at Barnwell Park Golf Club, Sydney, which was attended by President of the Association alumnus Sidney Cheng, members alumni Clara Cheng, Henie Tsang, Peter Chu, Richard Lam and his wife. Alumna Lilian Tang residing in Singapore also joined this gathering and was warmly welcomed by the Association. During the gathering, alumnus Cheng shared with members the latest development of the University, including the good news about HKBU teams scooping awards at the 46th International Exhibition of Inventions of Geneva held in Switzerland.

HKBU Alumni Association of Australia would like to invite alumni, retired and former academic and administrative staff of the University, who are now residing in Australia to join the Association.
