HKBU MScBM Alumni Association Celebrates Inauguration

To celebrate the establishment of the Hong Kong Baptist University MScBM Alumni Association (MScBMAA), an Inauguration Ceremony was held on 28 April on campus.

The Ceremony was graced by the presence of the Dean of School of Business Prof. Edward Snape and a group of Business Management alumni. Among them were Chairman of the Alumni Committee of HKBU Foundation alumnus Sunny Wong, Deputy Chairman alumnus Dickson Shang, member alumnus Wong Nga-chung, President of HKBU Alumni Association alumnus Alex Leung, Chairman of HKBU School of Business Alumni Association alumnus Bernard Wu and President of HKBU MBA Alumni Association alumnus Harry Ng.

During the Ceremony, Prof. Snape, alumni Sunny Wong and Alex Leung congratulated the establishment of the Association, wishing MScBMAA a great success in future. At her remarks, President of MScBMAA alumna Elise Guo expressed her gratitude to School of Business and the alumni for their support, and stressed that the Association’s mission was to promote friendship and cooperation among MScBM graduates and students, and contribute for the betterment of the alma mater.

All MScBM alumni and students are welcome to join the Association. Interested parties please email to mscbmaa@life.hkbu.edu.hk.

HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association Hosts Alumni Gathering

HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association organised a reunion gathering on 14 April at their newly renovated office in Guangzhou. Attending alumni shared anecdotes about recent happenings, spending an enjoyable afternoon together.

CIE Alumni Association Holds the 7th Inauguration Ceremony

On 27 March, the College of International Education (CIE) Alumni Association held its 7th inauguration ceremony on Shek Mun Campus, with around 40 alumni, lecturers and staff attending.

HKBU Rowing Club Alumni Association Member Alumnus Kwok Kin-ting Awarded Community Coach

At the 2017 Jockey Club Hong Kong Coaching Awards presentation ceremony held at Hong Kong Sports Institute on 22 April, alumnus Kwok Kin-ting (Sports and Recreation Leadership) was presented the Community Coach Recognition Award for his dedication to nurturing athletes and contribution to sports development in the community.

This is the third consecutive year HKBU Rowing Club Alumni Association’s member received this award, with alumni Lo Ting-wai in 2015, Wong Chi-wing in 2016 and Kwok Kin-ting in 2017, setting an important milestone to the Alumni Association.
