Public Lectures and Seminars by Professor Rudolf G. Wagner
 
The Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology is honored to have world-renowned Sinologue Rudolf Georg Wagner to visit Hong Kong Baptist University and give a series of public talks and postgraduate seminars from mid-May to mid-June, as 2017 HKBU Institute of Creativity Distinguished Visitor-cum-Jao Tsung-I Academy of Sinology Distinguished Scholar in residence.

As a leading figure in Sinology in Germany and Europe at large, and recipient of 1992 Leibniz Award of the German Research Foundation (highest German scholarly award), Professor Wagner is currently Senior Professor of Institute of Sinology, Heidelberg University. His major academic contributions are related to Wang Bi’s commentary on the Laozi.
