Career Seminar on "Value VS Success"

HKBUAA held its 4th Career Development Seminar of Mentoring Programme titled “Value VS Success” at Dr. Wu Yee Sun Lecture Theatre, Lam Woo International Conference Centre on 23 April. President of Hang Seng Management College alumnus Prof. Simon Ho (Sociology) shared with the audience the quote of Albert Einstein “Try not to become a man of success but rather try to become a man of value”. He considers a man of value is one who stands firm on beliefs such as honesty, morality, respectful of others, hardworking and dedication. Former Executive Director of Asia Television alumnus Ip Ka-po (Communication) shared his beliefs on what is right, being determined and perseverant in the face of difficulties at ATV. He believes that hard work, perseverance and giving are the success elements. He advised young graduates to work hard and take every opportunity to enrich knowledge, experience and skills. The seminar was well received by over 60 attendees.

HKBU Alumni Association Mentees Recruitment for 2016-17

HKBUAA is recruiting mentees for its Mentoring Programme 2016-17. All HKBU graduates of graduating years 2014 to 2016 are welcome to apply.

HKBUAA Mentors are senior alumni with more than 10 years of working experience who will nurture and guide these young graduates to fit into the working environment through workshops and regular contacts.

HKBUAA Monthly Happy Hour

HKBUAA held its joyous gathering at Shore in Central on 28 April, with over 15 alumni from different generations and disciplines attended.
