Alumna Crystal Vut Shines at Tokyo Marathon 2018

In the recent Toyko Marathon 2018 held on 25 February, alumna Crystal Vut (Physical Education & Recreation Management; Education), Assistant Lecturer of the Department of Physical Education, was the first among Hong Kong female runners to cross the finish line. She completed the race in 2 hours 47 minutes and 52 seconds, and ranked the 31st among all female participants. Congratulations to alumna Vut!

“We are BUddies Alumni Show” 2nd Anniversary Celebration Dinner

Hosted by Dr. Justin Chiu (Doctor of Social Sciences, honoris causa; Sociology), a reunion dinner was held on 30 January to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of “We are BUddies” Alumni Show, which was staged successfully in January 2016 to commemorate the 60th Anniversary of HKBU. The Dinner was a happy gathering of the alumni to reminiscing the wonderful moments and anecdotes of the Show.

Alumnus Ronald Chiu Shares “Post Truth” at HKBU

On 25 February, alumnus Ronald Chiu (Honorary University Fellow; Communication) was invited to be the guest speaker at HKBU Faculty and Staff Assembly, sharing on a topic themed “Social Phenomenon of Post Truth”.
