HKBU School of Business and the School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA) jointly organised an alumni gathering “Alumni Drinks” on 8 March at Red Bar + Restaurant in International Finance Centre, Central. The event was well attended by over 130 alumni, students and staff from the University.
The event was graced by the presence of President Prof. Roland Chin, Vice-President (Teaching & Learning) Dr. Albert Chau, Dean of School of Business Prof. Edward Snape, Associate Dean Dr. Peter Lau, Associate Dean Prof. Gerard Prendergast, Chairman of School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA) alumnus Bernard Wu and President of SBAA alumnus Franklin Fong.
In his remarks, President Chin welcomed all guests on behalf of the University and thanked alumni for their continuous support. He also emphasised “alumni define the University”, which he used to encourage alumni to work hard for their careers and thrive in their lives. Prof. Snape also took this opportunity to share with alumni the vision and latest development of the School of Business.
Everyone enjoyed the evening and treasured the opportunity to meet old and new buddies.
