Upcoming Activities of Alumni Associations for Celebrating HKBU 60th Anniversary
 
HKBUAA of Australia Hosts a Dinner in Celebration of HKBU 60th Anniversary with the Presence of President Chin

President and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Roland Chin will lead the University’s delegation to visit some universities in Australia in mid-August with an aim to establish collaborative partnerships and learn from their success. As an important part of their itinerary, President Chin and the delegation will attend the anniversary dinner organised by HKBU Alumni Association of Australia on 19 August in celebration of HKBU’s diamond jubilee.

At the dinner, President Chin will share his vision and plan to bring HKBU to a whole new level of success. The dinner will be held from 6:30pm to 10:30pm at The Eight Restaurant (Level 3, Market City, 9-13 Hay Street, Haymarket, NSW 2000). All HKBU alumni residing in Australia and their friends and families are welcome to join the dinner at a fee of AUD$60 per head.

Established in 2008, HKBU Alumni Association of Australia aims to aggregate alumni residing or staying in Australia and strengthen the bonding among themselves and with the University through meaningful events and gatherings. Baptist Chemists Dinner for HKBU 60th Anniversary and Farewell to Prof. Chan Wing-hong

Baptist Chemists and Alumni Affairs Office will co-organise a dinner on 25 June (Saturday) at Renfrew Restaurant on HKBU Campus to celebrate the 60th Anniversary of HKBU. Taking this opportunity, Baptist Chemists will also bid farewell to retiring Prof. Chan Wing-hong, who has made great contributions to the Department of Chemistry over the past 35 years. It will be a precious occasion for Chemistry alumni to rekindle friendship and recall their happy campus life together with Prof. Chan.

HKBU 60th Anniversary Celebration – MBA (China) Alumni Association Reunion Gathering

MBA (China) Alumni Association (the Association) will join hands with the School of Business and Alumni Affairs Office to organise a reunion gathering in Guangzhou in celebration of HKBU 60th Anniversary on 23 July. Members of the Association residing or staying in different regions can take this opportunity to reconnect with each other and celebrate the diamond jubilee of your alma mater.

HKBU 60th Anniversary Celebration – Department of Physical Education Alumni Homecoming Dinner

Alumni Associations of Physical Education Department Post-graduate Studies (SLM), Physical Education and Recreation Management (PERM) and Sport and Recreation Leadership (SRL) will join hands with the Department of Physical Education (PE) and the Alumni Affairs Office to organise an alumni homecoming dinner in celebration of HKBU 60th Anniversary on 21 July. PE alumni from various decades can take this opportunity to reconnect with each other and celebrate 60th Anniversary of your alma mater.
