Updates on Alumni

Honorary University Fellow Dr. Ronald Lu Dr. Lu’s company Ronald Lu & Partners received the BCI Asia Top 10 Architects Award for the 11th consecutive year . It also won the “FuturArc Green Leadership Award 2015” for its design of Academic 3 of the City University of Hong Kong.

Alumnus Philip Kan Siu-lun (Business Management) Alumnus Kam was appointed as non-official Member of Town Planning Board and non-official Member of its Rural and New Town Planning Committee from 1 March 2015 to 31 March 2016.

Alumna Lui Hoi-ling (History) Alumna Lui Hoi-ling (History), who is now a PhD candidate at the University of California at San Diego (UCSD), has won a distinguished teaching award conferred by the Academic Senate of UCSD.   Lui Hoi-ling(right)

Alumni Timothy Cho and Shawn Kam (Communication) Two ’80s BU alumni, Timothy Cho and Shawn Kam, set off for a journey from the southernmost region of Chile to Hong Kong without taking a plane. The journey started on 1 July 2014. The two would visit a total of 33 countries in 4 continents including Chile, Argentina, Bolivia, Peru, Ecuador and Colombia, to name but a few to experience different cultures, meet different people and take on a once-in-a-lifetime challenge.
