Prof. Guo Yike, Vice-President (Research and Development) of HKBU, assumed office with effect from 1 January 2020. He will lead the University in charting its overall research strategy and developing its research infrastructure, supervising the operation of postgraduate education, promoting knowledge transfer projects and overseeing research collaborations with overseas partners. In order to let both HKBU Foundation Alumni Committee members and alumni have a better understanding of Prof. Guo's work, several dinner gatherings were arranged for them to engage in dialogues with Professor Guo in a more relaxed atmosphere. Participants had a very enjoyable time with Prof. Guo at the dinners and treasured the opportunity for exchanges on topics regarding university development. |
