On 23 June, President Prof. Roland Chin hosted a dinner at his residence, Shiu Pong Hall, in honour of eminent community leaders. Guests included Mr. Brian Cheng, Managing Director of GreenWalls Bioengineering (HK) Limited and his spouse Ms. Mandy Li; alumnus Prof. Raymond Fung, former Senior Architect of Architectural Services Department of HKSAR and his spouse Ms. Salome Yip; Mr. Peter Hung, President of Forbes Global Holdings Inc.; Ms. Annemieke Ruigrok, Consul General of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Hong Kong and Macao; and Mr. Raymond Young, Chief Executive Officer of The Chinese Manufacturers’ Association of Hong Kong.
At the dinner, President Chin shared with the guests HKBU’s new initiative “Project SEED”, an initiative to help graduating students to cope with the challenges amidst the COVID-19 outbreak. Guests also took the opportunity to exchange views regarding various topics of the society at large. All of the guests were presented with health-soup and tea packs from the HKBU - Jockey Club Chinese Medicine Disease Prevention and Health Management Centre as souvenir.
