President Prof. Roland Chin and the University delegation including Dr. Albert Chau, Vice-President (Teaching & Learning); Prof. Huang Yu, Associate Vice-President (Mainland); Mr. CK Yeung, Associate Vice-President (Engagement); Dr. Melanie Lee, Director of Alumni Affairs; Dr. Brandon Ng, Senior Lecturer of Department of Management; and Dr. Yang Li-wei, Senior Manager of Mainland Development Office attended a dinner gathering hosted jointly by alumnus Dr. Cartier Lam (Geography) and HKBU Alumni Association of Shanghai (HKBUSHAA) on 5 July. The dinner was also graced by the presence of alumnus Sunny Wong (Business Management), Chairman of Hong Kong Baptist University Foundation Alumni Committee, and members alumni Wong Nga-chung (Business Management) and Alex Leung (Business Management).
Sponsored by alumnus Dr. Cartier Lam, Sponsor of HKBUSHAA, on venue, food and beverage, the gathering attracted more than 70 alumni residing in Shanghai and nearby regions to join. At the dinner, Dr. Lam and alumnus Yee Lam (Communication), President of HKBUSHAA, gave speeches individually. President Chin also shared the latest alumni achievement and University development.
