HKBU Century Club co-organised a dance drama named “Crested Ibises” with the School of Chinese Medicine of HKBU. A press conference was held on HKBU campus on 19 June. Attending guests included Honorary Chairman of the Organising Committee of The Chinese Star Performing Arts Group alumnus Dr. Justin Chiu (Doctor of Social Sciences, honoris causa; Sociology), Member of Century Club and Chairman of the Organising Committee of The Chinese Star Performing Arts Group alumnus Ip Ka-po (Communication), Member of Century Club and Honorary President of the Art Concept Culture Institute alumna Katie Chan (Communication), President of Century Club alumnus Kent Tsui (Communication) and Past President of Century Club alumna Mariana Tsang (Secretarial Management).
“Crested Ibises” will be staged at Lyric Theatre of The Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts on 28 and 29 July. The fund raised by this performance will be used to support the HKBU Century Club’s student ambassador scheme, sponsoring HKBU students to participate in exchange and internship programme in foreign countries and experience the “Belt and Road – A Tour of Artistic Diplomacy”. Part of the funds will be donated to the School of Chinese Medicine of HKBU. |
