Riding on the success of some kick-off activities earlier this year, HKBU Social Work Alumni Association continues to organise the Mentorship Scheme for graduates of Social Work in 2014. In January 2014, the mentors and mentees were introduced to one other. With the aim of sharing real case studies and practical experiences with the participants, a two-day mock interview session chaired by veteran alumni was arranged in early April 2014. The event attracted some 60 graduates.
On 28 April 2014, four alumni working in Social Welfare Department, HKSAR exchanged their views with 32 graduates under the Mentorship Scheme. A second reunion dinner for Mentors and Mentees was also held on 16 May 2014 to strengthen their ties. The dinner was attended by 23 participants. The Mentorship Scheme will continue until the end of 2014. |
