HKBU School of Business Alumni Association Finance Salon 2 – The Good & The Bad of China Property Market
Riding on the encouraging response of Finance Salon 1, HKBU School of Business Alumni Association will co-organise the Finance Salon 2 “The Good & The Bad of China Property Market” with HKBU Alumni Association on 30 January 2015. Alumni speakers Mr. Ben Bei Haocheng, Director of Equity Research, CIMB and Mr. Daniel Wu Wenquan, Vice President of Real Estate Investment, ICBCI will share their views on the market outlook and investment strategies when the China market is facing significant challenges.

HKBU MBA & MScBM Alumni Association and alumni of Master of Science in Applied Accounting and Finance will jointly organise a talk show about Hong Kong banking industry in February 2015 on HKBU Campus whereby Director of Citigroup Global Market Asia Limited Mr. Martin Wong and Director of Quam Securities Mr. Alan Chan will share the insiders' views on the secrets of success and the latest development of banking and finance industry in Hong Kong. School of Business will send the details to all Business alumni soon. |

HKBU School of Business Alumni Association – Simulated Investment Competition 2015
HKBU School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA) will organise a simulated investment competition in March 2015 to provide HKBU undergraduate and postgraduate students the opportunities to practise trading skills through hands-on experience. Trading platform with real-time market data is provided by Interactive Brokers LLC. Students may use both mobile and desktop trading platforms during this 4-week competition to invest US$1 million paper cash and will be judged by the ending net liquidation value together with an investment report. Staff from Interactive Brokers LLC will provide training to participants during the competition. Winners of the competition will have the chance to get internship opportunity in leading financial institutions.
