HKBU MBA Alumni Association Supports The Community Chest 50th Anniversary Walk for Millions

HKBU MBA Alumni Association (MBAAA) participated in The Community Chest 50th Anniversary Walk for Millions held on 6 January at Hong Kong’s new infrastructure Central-Wan Chai Bypass. Over 20 members, their families and friends joined this meaningful event to raise fund for family and child welfare services funded by the Chest. The walk was about 5.3 km in distance and the team took around 2.5 hours to complete. After the walk, participants further shared the joy at a lunch gathering.
Over 20 MBAAA members, their families and friends joined The Community Chest 50th Anniversary Walk for Millions.
 
 
Participants are excited to walk along the new infrastructure Central-Wan Chai Bypass.
 
 
HKBU School of Business Alumni Association Supports the Finance Summit Organised by www.ifeng.com

On 9 January, www.ifeng.com organised a Finance Summit in Hong Kong in which economists, industry leaders and financial elites were invited to share their insights on the opportunities and challenges of the financial markets in 2019. HKBU School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA) was honoured to be one of the supporting organisations and gathered over 10 alumni holding senior positions in finance and listed companies to attend this summit. They were inspired and benefitted from the insightful sharing of the speakers.

Physical Education and Recreation Management Alumni Association Organises Basketball Competition cum Fun Day

The Physical Education and Recreation Management Alumni Association (PERMAA) organised a Basketball Competition cum Family Fun Day at the Wai Hang Sports Centre on 26 January 2019. Over 40 alumni participated in the basketball competition. Dr. Louie Lobo, Associate Professor of Department of Sport and Physical Education also joined the event to cheer for the teams.

Results of the Competition:

Champion: The 17th Team
The First Runner-up: The 123 Team
Penalty Scores Points Award: Alumna Sincere Ip (The 15th Team)
