HKBU Economics Alumni Association Holds Annual General Meeting 2017

On 13 December, HKBU Economics Alumni Association held its Annual General Meeting, in which the following members of the Executive Committee were elected for the term 2017-18:

Chairman: Dr. Ignatius So
Vice Chairman: Mr. Matthew Tse
Honorary Secretary: Mr. Michael Ho
Honorary Treasurer: Ms. Alberta Sie
Membership Officer: Mr. Martin Kwan
Auditor: Mr. Jacob Yeung

Recent Activities of HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association

On 18 December, HKBU MBA (China) Alumni Association co-organised the 2017 China Summit on Scientific and Technological Innovation held in Guangzhou with an attendance of more than 600 participants. Over 20 alumni from HKBU attended the event. They were impressed by the latest scientific development and technological innovations in the mainland and the insightful sharing of experts from the industry.

On 29 November, the Alumni Association also paid a visit to NetEase, a leading Chinese Internet technology company. Representative of NetEase Mr. Li Yanchao shared the business development and success stories of the company since its establishment in 1997.
