In this party, HKBU team was on the spotlight with their amazing dancing and singing performance - Night Blossom – by alumni Yee Lam (Communication), Christina Lam (Communication), Lyu Jing (Communication) and Zhou Linhui (Communication). The exquisite cheongsam and graceful poise of the dancers not only earned big applause from the audience, but also helped Christina win the award of Best Female Costumes of the party.

In Memory of Mr. Lau Chor-tak
(Honorary University Fellow)
The University is profoundly saddened by the passing of Mr. Lau Chor-tak, Honorary University Fellow, on 27 January. He was 94 years old.
Mr. Lau was a true philanthropist and demonstrated his genuine concern for society, particularly in education. He became a staunch supporter of HKBU in the 1950s while a council member of the Baptist Convention of Hong Kong. During his service, Mr. Lau actively encouraged the Convention to petition the Hong Kong Government to grant land for building the then Hong Kong Baptist College campus. Mr. Lau was an ardent supporter to the development of HKBU. In 2011, He donated a residential unit to HKBU for receiving visiting world-class scholars. The University would like to convey our heartfelt condolences to his family.
