Upcoming Activities of Business Alumni
 
HKBU School of Business Alumni Association – Simulated Investment Competition 2015

HKBU School of Business Alumni Association (SBAA) will organise a simulated investment competition in March 2015 to provide HKBU undergraduate and postgraduate students (not limited to School of Business) opportunities to practise trading skills through hands-on experience. Trading platform is provided by Interactive Brokers LLC with real-time market data. Students may utilise both mobile and desktop trading platforms during this 4-week competition to invest 1 million U.S. dollar paper cash and will be judged by the ending net liquidation value together with an investment report. Staff from Interactive Brokers will provide training to participants during the competition. Winners of the competition will have the chance to get an internship opportunity in leading financial institutions.

All participants will be provided with the following:
Briefing and trading sharing session hosted by senior industry practitioners
    WeChat discussion group where platform usage will be discussed, among other topics
    Education contents which are available via the website of Interactive Brokers

Briefing and trading sharing will be conducted shortly with details to be announced through the WeChat discussion group.

Competition details:
Competition period: 2 to 27 March 2015 (four weeks). Strategy report to be submitted by 20 April 2015
    Target: All HKBU students are welcome. Registration is on a first-come-first-served basis.
    Fee: Free

School of Business Organises Alumni Badminton Mixer
