Alumnus Fong Siaw Chin Visits HKBU Alumnus Mr. Fong Siaw Chin (Chinese Language and Literature) returned to his alma mater and toured around the campus on 8 October. He had a great time recapturing past memories at HKBU and, learned about the latest development of the University. He also visited the Department of Chinese Language and Literature, where he had a chance to meet and have a brief exchange with the Department Head Prof. Lo Ming Tung. Alumnus Fong is a Malaysian. He had travelled far to Hong Kong some 53 years ago to pursue his studies at HKBU. He had since returned to his home country for further development on graduation. Alumnus Tony Lo from United Kingdom Visits HKBU On 10 October, alumnus Tony Lo (Social Work) travelled all the way from the United Kingdom to return to his alma mater for a campus visit. During the visit, he was warmly received by Department Head of Social Work Prof. Petrus Ng and Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Melanie Lee. Alumnus Lo was delighted to witness the new and remarkable developments of the University vis-á-vis those he learnt during his visit several years ago. Social Work and Sociology Alumni of Class 1969 Visit HKBU Seven Social Work and Sociology alumni of class 1969 returned to their alma mater on 7 November. They were warmly received by the Head of Department of Social Work Prof. Petrus Ng and Director of Alumni Affairs Dr. Melanie Lee, and had a lunch gathering together.
